“How is the work going?” “Could you resend the offer?” “When does the next stage start?” These are reasonable questions. To your client, your company is one partner, even when several people handle the work and the information is spread across different places.

For the owner, each answer means a small interruption: find the right email, check the project, locate the document and send it over. That is simple with one client. With several jobs running at once, it takes a noticeable share of the day.

We added a client portal to Studio OS so clients can find that information themselves. The portal is already live, and we are continuing to develop it alongside the rest of Studio OS.

A view for your company's clients

If you use Studio OS to run your business, the client portal is for the people and companies buying from you. Someone commissioning a renovation can see their offer and the progress of the work; a regular client can find their service agreement and issued invoices in the same place.

Clients sign in through a link sent to their email. They do not need another password or have to learn your work management software. They see information connected to their own client relationship and materials shared with them. Internal correspondence, notes and drafts stay in your workspace.

A client should be able to see where their work stands and whether anything needs their response.

An offer they can respond to in the same place

Clients can review an offer at their own pace: what the price includes, the terms and how long it remains valid. They can print the offer and download its existing PDF. Previously shared offers remain easy to find, too.

When an offer suits them, clients can approve it in the portal. A receipt preserves the content they approved. Your company then reviews the client's approval and confirms the next steps. Both sides can see what the client said yes to and what happens next.

Progress that clients can see

Once an agreement is reached, the main question changes: when will the work be finished? The portal shows project progress, stages and the next step. If a client has several jobs with your company, they appear together in one view.

For example, a client commissions a room renovation. After reviewing the offer, they can use the same portal to check the current stage and what comes next. At the end of the job, they can find the issued invoice there as well. Each question no longer needs a new email thread.

The overview uses the work status recorded in Studio OS. This helps your company keep the client's view aligned with its own working records, without compiling a separate progress report.

Contracts and invoices stay within reach

During an ongoing engagement, clients sometimes need to check what was agreed. The portal shows service agreement details, included services and billing schedules, with downloads for contract PDFs shared with the client.

Invoices show the amount, due date and latest recorded payment status. Clients can download an existing invoice PDF. They have one reliable place to look for billing information, even when the original email is buried in their inbox.

Less repetition and a clearer client experience

For the owner, the benefit is practical: fewer documents to resend, fewer separate progress summaries and clearer offer approvals. For the client, it means being able to check the details whenever they have time.

This is especially useful for businesses where the relationship lasts longer than a single purchase: construction, design, maintenance, consulting or an ongoing service agreement. The more stages and commitments an engagement involves, the more valuable it is to have one place to find them.

Available today, with more to come

Today, clients can view and approve offers, follow projects, and find contracts, invoices and their associated shared PDFs in the portal.

We also plan to bring questions, conversation, photos and additional client information into the same view. Those additions are still planned. Development will follow the information clients and businesses actually need to take the next step together.

When your company has a clear overview of the work, your clients should have one, too.
